    Nirvana Papaya

A couple of years ago? Are they still viable? I just placed an order from Attitude, I will start my grow of them in the beginning of July. I will be using a mixture of lights of around 1,000 watts.

No wings so not in the wasp family. Looks to be a ant or cricket. Probably not hazardous to the plant.

    Free fluorescent lighting

They won't be T5 probably T8 or most likely T12. The could work. That's what we did back in the day. "Cool light" for your veg cycle 5000K-6500K and "warm light" 2700K-3000K. Yield won't be impressive if that is your only light source thou.

First Grow - 600w hps (advice needed)

Clone during veg cycle only, too much stress for the flowering. Wait until after your next nute water to go into the12/12 cycle. Everything looks good. Did you top the girls also?

    Slow grow or short plant

Awesome job! The Aurora is a very short plant. I am doing them again in my new set and sometimes you can get a dense girl that is 18-24" at harvest.

    question about NPK

Short answer is :Yes. Is it the best...NO. If you plants are a few weeks old you could start with 1/4 strength dosage. A ratio to closely mimic is 3-1-2 during vegging cycle. You change to flowering nutes after your light cycle changes to 12/12. There you can up the "P" aspect or your nutes or...

    DIY metal reflector

I picked up some 24" T5 HO lights, but they had no reflectors. So I decided to make my own. I went to Lowes and bought 12"X24" 28 gauge sheet metal. I Measured in 5 1/4" inches form the edge and used an old 2X4 and edge of table to bend it to approx. a 30-45 degree angle. I used some spray glue...

    1st Grow Cfl

Looks great! It won't take long for the trimming. Depending on the trichomes some darkness might be good for it.

First Ever Grow: 2 Years of Lurking

Looks ok, sometimes it takes a little time, especially when you are adding nutes at this young age. Pic #1 looks like maybe some drainage issues with the cup? All else looks like you are on track.

    1st grow, one female.

Great! I can't wait. Do you know what seed type it is? Are you mixing your spectrum on the CFL's?

    Need help quick!

NO!..Almost perfect for your Vegging cycle. Remember to switch to HPS for flowering. It might be a good idea to add some T5 HO or CFL's now and do a 80/20 mix of 6500/2700K now ... and a mix of 90/10.. 2700K & 5000Kor 6500K for your flower cycle...for the future.

Newbie, technically challenged, diy question, filter/exhaust, smell

4-6 plants not an issue if you pick the "right" strains. Stay away from the "skunk" varieties. When i do my exhaust i either tap into a bathroom exhaust or if I am adding a separate exhaust fan I take the tubing off one of the bathroom units and add it to mine. So the existing exhaust fan now...
