I guess I could leave it on 12/12 and then maybe just have to harvest earlier than expected or I could keep on 12/12 for a while then go to 11/13 and when it get close to moving time maybe couple weeks before drop it to 10/14 to help it ripen up a bit more..

If you go the cfl route I would recommend the 68watt(4200 lumens) or the 68watt(4200 lumens) you dont need a special ballast and you wont see much of a difference on your electric bill and if it get too hot a small fan will usually keep temps down.

I just thought if there where less light during light on and more night time the plant would be tricked to think its really late into the flowering period and thus would prob try to hurry up and finish, I know there would be negitive effects on the yield but if it finishes faster then its worth...

I was wondering If anybody has ever tried to use less light in flower cylce more night time to make the plant flower a bit quicker? Im in a situation where I have to move and wanted to make my plants flower at a faster rate if possible?? Help is always appreciated!

prob would have taken off if you would have tried to make it root.. What a crazy sight that would have been with the fan leaf just sticking up like that and the new growth coming out the bottom..

Also If your growing in the small corner of that closet try to build a light reflector of sometype above your plants so you wont loose as many lumens as you would if you didint have a relfector.. Cfls become less efficient the farther away they are and the light just dissipates when you dont it...

You could prob get away with having 5 without heat problems.. are you growing in an open area like say the closet in your pic??or in a small cabinet of somekind?

get yourself like 15 of those 13watt cfls, 5500k for veg would be great but if thats all you have then thats all you have, as for heat cfls emit less heat compared to other light souces so you should be fine..
