Will this rigid foam insulation board work well?

Thanks for all the feedback, I got the idea of using this stuff from other people's journals where they used rigid foam and liked it, it's basically an easy way for me to create a structure that I can seal up air tight (to help with smells) I'm going to tape all the seams and get it real solid...

Will this rigid foam insulation board work well?

I'm also wondering if this stuff, being 1 1/2" thick will be able to block light or if I'll have to put panda film over it, I'm trying to avoid using that stuff I want a nice clean look and I can never hang that stuff perfectly, was considering finding some kind of latex sealer paint or...

Will this rigid foam insulation board work well?

I have multiple tents but my ceiling height is too low so I can't use any of them anymore since moving to a new home, seems like every good sized tent out there is literally 2 inches too tall so I can't use any of them plus being as concerned about smell as I am I feel I should have a good seal...

Will this rigid foam insulation board work well?

I'm going to be framing my room soon and am planning on using rigid foam insulation, problem is I have a small vehicle and cannot transport 4x8' sheets, don't want to pay delivery fees and don't want to rent a truck for it as unloading a bunch of those will look like i'm up to something...

Mocked up grow room for dual hose A/C, think this will work?

Thanks for taking some time to offer your input!

Mocked up grow room for dual hose A/C, think this will work?

Yeah, I am almost thinking I'll be better off with the third option at this point and I actually did manage to sustain 78 degrees pretty consistent when I had the modified 6000 BTU window unit, I feel maybe I should jump on this $250 12K BTU window unit and just get a little DIY happy with it, I...

Mocked up grow room for dual hose A/C, think this will work?

Thanks for the response, very helpful... I think I could do the install of a mini split aside from the line work, I'd make sure to buy an entire full kit w/ lengthy enough line so there's nothing extra required there, ideally I'd have the unit next to my central air to look less awkward but...

Mocked up grow room for dual hose A/C, think this will work?

If I just get a minisplit, does anyone have a rough estimate on how much it would cost for an HVAC guy to come out and purge the line before it's connected, not sure the exact term, vacate? I feel like installing a minisplit would be easy and they can be had for $500-700 all day long for smaller...

Mocked up grow room for dual hose A/C, think this will work?

I'm also interested in a dual hose portable A/C over other options because it has a built in heater and dehumidifier as well, which will eliminate the need for other appliances and power consumption, I figure once the A/C turns off the dehumidifier can be programmed to kick on in it's absence...

Mocked up grow room for dual hose A/C, think this will work?

I mocked this up quickly as I feel so far it's my best layout idea for the space I have to work in, the whole thing is about 10' x 13' w/ some addition utility space toward the upper right corner that doesn't count as growing space so it's not shown (where passive intake is) I'm trying to avoid...

Does this basement window easily detach leaving only the screen?

I guess this is actually called a glass block hopper vent or something, keep looking around and poking for instructions (can find them for sale easily) I have been feeling around with my fingers and it seems there are two phillips head screws on each hinge, I think I'll wait til I'm closer to...

Does this basement window easily detach leaving only the screen?

I am worried that scent from the room will be pulled into the hoods regardless of how tightly I have them sealed (and with insulated ducting) causing a smell issue outside of the house though, I'll have a carbon filter hooked up to to the main room exhaust and maybe even a second one just...

Does this basement window easily detach leaving only the screen?

I'm trying to figure out a good place to vent air cooled hoods and I have a window identical to this one in a perfect spot, it opens nicely exposing the screen I was thinking if I can easily pop off the window/door portion leaving just the rectangular hole I feel I could build something around...

Stalk Thickness correlation to Yield, is there any "study" data from the community?

I got 7.5 oz off my last Critical Jack plant in a 5g DWC which had a pretty decent sized stalk, I have an El Alquamista right now in SCROG that I am trying to judge when I want to flip to 12/12 and thinking about basing my decision on when it's stalk is say wider than a Bic lighter I might do...

Stalk Thickness correlation to Yield, is there any "study" data from the community?

I have been searching for something specifically on this subject and it's not coming up immediately in my search results anywhere, I have found threads regarding stalk thickness but not really correlated to yield. I am wondering if anyone has ever kept track of that or has data on it, are there...

Plant yielded a bit over 7 ounces for anyone who was curious, If I can do the same thing minus the seeds next time I'll be happy.

Opinions: How many more days, Critical Jack, quality bud shots.

Yeah, I ended up finding seeds in some buds but noticed no signs of Hermes until chopping so I chopped it early on Friday... Sucks but hoping only half is seeded, looks like a big yield for 1 plant too bad half is confirmed ruined and seedy. I have lots of critical jack seeds which is kind of cool.

Everything is harvested, 90% of it is trimmed and either hung or racked. I have 3 lines of hanging buds and 4 plastic racks full of trimmed buds. I have saved quite a number of seeds (which is cool, and sucks) I am unsure how badly seeded everything is but I am assuming half of the crop (if not...

Well here's some of the harvested, plus what's still left on the plant (not getting a dark period, I am far too tired to continue) yield looks pretty amazing to me cant weight to weigh it there's a bunch of stuff still on a trim tray too (more buds, branches) so this isn't even all of my 1...
