Super Lemon Haze young beauty needs your help?

Which micronutrient(s), specifically? This plant is getting 1TBS Fox Farm Big Bloom, 1Tsp Grow Big (half-strength compared to their chart) with every watering, all nutes pHed to 6.0-6.5

Super Lemon Haze young beauty needs your help?

Couple issues here: 1. New leaves considerably lighter, more so than normally. Their lighter color isn't even; the outer fringes are darker like the lower, surrounding leaves. Is this the early stages of a deficiency or other problem? 2. A few leaves at the bottom are yellowing. I...

I think this is Phosphorus deficiency. Am I correct?

I am indeed worried that my tap water is hard after a problem late into flowering on a couple plants in my first grow. I'm using (slightly less than) 1TBS Fox Farm Big Bloom, 1tsp Grow Big, 1/8tsp ProTekt. I'll follow through on my intention to grab a combo meter and then post my results.

I think this is Phosphorus deficiency. Am I correct?

This 707 Headband mom is healthy except for a few purple stems and necrotic splotches on the lower fan leaves . . . this is a P deficiency, amirite?

    Bwpz's First Indoor Grow - 600w King's Kush/White Rhino

Hey man, As you've seen, I'm just wrapping my first grow up and gonna get started with a full journal for the next time, so it'll be interesting to follow your first time out. A few thoughts so far: -be careful with that 600w on the seedlings. I found that my 600 was stressing some...

All leaves rusting and burnt . . . 707 Headband needs your help!

Exactly. In case anyone reads through this in the future, my point was that while it's hot enough in my tent at the moment to cause airy buds, the 80~85F range wouldn't be enough heat to cause burnt leaves. By that same token, anyone who reads through this should know that my takeaway (in...

    The Best N-P-K

I want to get on board with 'common sense' gardening. Your tip about leaves getting smaller was so 'elegant', I didn't even comprehend it until I re-read the post later. Good stuff! You also mention supporting the leaves and roots, a basic idea that makes perfect sense. Most of what I know...

All leaves rusting and burnt . . . 707 Headband needs your help!

Heat burn, not for sure at all. Other plants in good shape (albeit with nugs a bit too airy for AAA porn status) in the same environment, with no part of any plant closer than 10" from the lights. Light burn because of a sloppy application of a foliar spray to fight PM? Seems perhaps more...

So can I take this to mean that feeding them as much as they can handle without any negative visual feedback should result in the best (largest/most potent) harvest, assuming all the environmental variables are optimized?

All leaves rusting and burnt . . . 707 Headband needs your help!

Essentially, I let my ego get the best of me here. I have posted here including some with photos between now and then . . . hell, I already took the photos when I had the first signs, copied them to my PC and then just went right on ahead and only posted the near-harvest photos I was proud of...

    Nitrogen Claw?

I agree about the N toxicity. Those plants are VERY green, which, you want to try and maximize foliage throughout the plant's entire life until the very end, but it looks like they've had a bit too much. High N also contributes to calcium lockout, so that's what I thought when I noticed the...

All leaves rusting and burnt . . . 707 Headband needs your help!

Yep...I'm def going to work in some lime with my FFOF next time around (only got a week, two weeks left tops on this go-round). In looking through my copy of Marijuana Garden Saver, the closest problem I can see is a calcium deficiency, but I can't say that my photos look exactly like any of...

Want to Know If Your Plants are Finished?

Got some good advice on when to chop my Romulan on this thread a little while back. I'm finishing up a selective harves of one of the four main colas 3-4 days apart for a total of ~10 days to see what the perfect plucking time is. Maybe I could get some similarly useful feedback on these later...

    The Best N-P-K

First off, a big thanks to UB. I used your topping method with great success on my first grow. After having read more of your stuff and other well respected growers, I'm ready to get away from my hundreds of dollars of Fox Farms, the dummy chart and all those yellow leaves. I understand that...

Dolomite lime is used for calcium and magnesium along with pH buffering, no? Are you saying that you only use tap water for your entire grow, or did that you don't use a CalMag supplement because you use the lime?

Here's a look at the same plant 22 days earlier. On one hand, it seems the issue 'moved fast'. On the other, I 'need' to be able to get shit like this sorted out in less than three weeks. Are the early yellowing spots in the closeups to be a clear symptom that could have been corrected before...

Are the Fox Farm solubles significantly different from one another?

Would it be reasonable to simply use one of the three for the entire flowering period? I was thinking that whichever one could combine with Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom (and probably a little Grow Big) to create whatever turns out to be the optimal NPK would be just fine, but I want to make sure I'm...

How to 'dial in' nutrient regimen

Perhaps this is the type of situation for which the expression "common sense isn't so common" was coined . . . I'm not asking for some magical formula that I can apply to every strain in every situation. I did, after all, refer to the FF schedule as a "'tard chart." You mention a few very...
