Purple has to be in its genetics but if it is, putting the whole plant in the fridge a day or two before harvest will bring out the color. unless you know your strain i would just leave it be

anything more than 12/12 will not help. you might want to get another light source as well as the natural sun, it might not be enough since its inside. a small cfl or 2 would do wonders. Also just closing the blinds or sumthing isnt enough dark. they need to be in absolute darkness a full 12

if you went 12/12 from seed to identify males its going to take a lil for them to show sex, their not going to pop out of the soil showing sex, they have to develop before they will flower even under 12/12 Give em time

bud mold, yes ive heard of. But it forms during curing and drying. Ive never heard of mold forming on a living plant

I was reading a thread and someone said they compost male plants for the vegging plants. This intrigues me. Anyone got any thoughts or info on this method?:blsmoke:

hmmm composting males for fert. hmmm sounds intresting. however it makes me think, what about the pollen. Seems to me you could seed up a good girl this way. EDIT: ohh for veg only, guess any left behind pollen would be gone by flower
