Just watered them a little while ago! The soil was bone dry! Last time they got water was on the 6th. I think that I waited too long to water. (More like under watering)

I don't even think that they're 2 gallon pots! I know it say's 8" on the bottom of the pots. I noticed that 1 of my plants was a male because it had a nub on a couple of the nodes. I cut it and tried to flip the pot to see how the roots were. And it looked like the roots weren't all the way...

So it's not from my plants being too big for the pots that they're in? Should I transplant to bigger pots? Should they be bigger than that for the time they've been growing?

Can anyone tell me why my soil is shrinking? It's starting to move away from the sides of my pots. My plants are 42 day's from germ. They range from 8"- 11". Should they be bigger than that? I'm using real organic fert (urine). Any help/replies are appreciated.:peace::joint::joint::joint:

I'm tryin to figure out when and how to switch to 12/12. I'm currently using 18/6. Should I wait until the 6 hrs. dark? Or can I just cut the lights off at any time and start the 12/12. 12 dark first or 12 light? This is starting to confuse me. Any help/replies are...
