    Runtz try three

I decided to not tempt fate by trasnplanting. The branches are too wobbly and will probably break. The next go I'll transplant from 3 gal to 5 gal at flip instead of waiting like I did this time.

I don't know I'm only speculating. Maybe I'll pick-up the next up-gallon pot and attempt to transplant one. Then I'll know more.

    Runtz try three

Yesterday ended week five from 4/15. The five large plants clearly show leaves dying from tips in while the smallest plant looks excellent. A possibility is the larger plants were under watered and are now becoming root bound while the smallest is/was right watered/root sized. They're too...

    Sun to light

It took me a long time to rid this place of Fungus gnats. Risk it again? No way!

    Sun to light

You're right. I don't know what I was thinking. Trying to skimp on electric I guess.

    Sun to light

So I made some clones that are now plants in red Solo cups. I'm thinking about putting the plants outside to grow in natural Sun for awhile up potting along the way. Maybe in a month or so bring them back in and put in a tent under artificial light. Anyone ever do this?

I watered two plants today, w/mosquito dunk water. The plants were heavier/wetter than typical. One was slightly hydrophobic after adding 1/2 gallon of water and had about 1/8" of runoff. The other held the 1/2 gallon. About 20 minutes later each got the other 1/2 gallon. Neither had any...

    Runtz try three

OK. The other thing I did recently is increase light intensity to 63,000 lux. But that was about a week ago and this problem doesn't look like light is the issue.

The only thing I'm not doing 100% is a lights on/off temp swing. Temps in the tent remain consistent. Everything else seems within parameters.

This one is #6 and it's beginning to fade. I wonder if this is normal. Anyway, #6 needed water so I gave it a gallon of solution including Flower Girl and added PK 12/14 and CalMag per instructions. After the gallon I added another 1/2 gallon of plain water. There was runoff but the...

    Runtz try three

Today marks week 4 since flip, 4/15. No more light issues. The middle of plant five looks like it's dying. I thought this was do to under watering but maybe not. Now the center of plant 3 looks like it's dying. Pic 1 is overall. Pic 2 is of plant 5. Pic 3 and 4 is of plant 3.

    Drooping. Have I overwatered?

If you think there is risk of the plant dying get a shovel and check, or even dump the pot and re-pot. It's better to learn right now than wonder.

    Drooping. Have I overwatered?

I'm learning how to accurately water and purchased a moisture meter to help.

Support indicated the dimmer is connected to an RJ port and that could be loose. This makes sense because the day before I changed intensity. Will check dongle later.

    Runtz try three

I emailed the manufacturer explaining what happened. Wait and see. The light was still on this morning. The plants are in dark period. I hope for the best.

There's so many hassles in this game. At 10 after 8:00PM I notice the light isn't on. It's supposed to come on at 8. I go down there and can't get the light to turn on. So I spend almost an hour swapping the malfunctioning light for a good light. Once finished swapping I test the...

    Cooling a room.

This idea will be expensive. Plants desire carbon dioxide. Dry ice could be a solution. Cut a hole in the floor above the grow area and place a dry ice making machine there. When a certain temp is reached in the crawl a pellet of dry ice could be dispensed and fall into the crawl through a...

    Runtz try three

Over the last day tent RH hasn't dropped below 50%. The target is 48%. Today I turned on a basement dehumidifier. RH is back within range: 48% - 50.4%.

Raised light to 24" above the highest tops then increased LUX to 63,800 at the tops. May deploy netting this week. Will Gorilla tape corners of net to poles and improvise as required.
