my cfls are touching my mylar and have been for quite some time never wraped a bulb though try using a pop can and wrap the can with mylar then u wont have to worry about it getting too hot

yes that sounds good u can also just run the duct between the lights with out the y and they make any size adaptor for the fans ie:3to4 inch 4to6 4to5 5to6 etc etc ;

i have 2 vortex fans 2 600hps and havent started my filter yet i use a 146cfm for both lights and it runs very cool my lamps are air cooled with a glass bottom its a 4inch in and out i would think a 6 inch vortec would do for the lights and another one for the filter

the main thing that needs tobe known is how big is the carbon filter at the mouth 10inch or better i hope for that size of room u should use 2 fans one 200cfm for the 2 lights and match one for the filter there might not be one big enough for all 3 or it will be way too big for your area like...

sounds like too much light try floro 5 inches u may have killed them mine only take a day or so to pop the first leaves out
