But it would be wise to replace the tinfoil if he can be bothered too. Heat is a very obvious problem in a PC grow, and the tinfoil will most definitely not help. Otherwise do you plan to add more light? It's probably better to mount the bulbs horizontally, it'll give you a lot more growing space.

It should be ok, those leaves fall off any case so the plant isn't to attached to them. Nice pics, keep us informed. :)

Still too high by my experience, I would try to stay within 2.5"-1.5" depending on how much growth your expecting, but never much further then that. Also, do you plan to employ and training or other techniques to control growth? Sorry, just was re-reading and saw no one else picked up on this.

Well, people grow 12/12 all the time, thou usually with CFL's, but if you've got a nice proper HSP I'm sure the process can be replicated? Maybe give it a week or so of CFL veggin' to take hold and 12/12 it under the HPS...see where that takes you>?
