dunno. it really doesn't seem to matter for some reason. the water and roots still smell like alfalfa. so all is well. haven't really had any problems. I usually let the water get really low then replenish it fully. i think the air and stuff make sure that no nasty growth occurs.

yeah probably. but i grew for 5 months without changing the res. didn't seem like a big deal actually.

dunno what happen. grew them hydroponically. had humidity dome on them.

i'll try to extend the exhaust further away. unfortunately the only place to exhaust or intake is from the same entrance.

how fast did it dry? my nirvana papaya smells like dead grass. i tried to cure it but now it's losing ALL smell.

they rooted alright but then the head part where new growth forms turned brown an mushy and is DEAD! wtf??? why is this happening?? fuck!

How big of a fan need to air cool 4 1,000 watt bulbs? Does it matter much if the ducting is in a straight line or going in a circle? The circle way is the easiest - where 4 lights form a box and they are all connected and the intake and exhaust are near each other.

yeah that's what i'm thinking... maybe go vertical but i don't want that to play into my decision right now though. I just don't know if the kahuna would make a huge difference or maybe even opt for a smaller kahuna type one. But I don't see why everyone just doesn't get the tube one??? maybe...

yeah I don't see any Larger SOG DWC grows. Only Ebb an Flow. I've never done ebb and flow and DWC just seems so much easier - no?

I need to cover a 4x8 area. 2 lights. they have this one: http://htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=55053 and this one: http://htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=53948 Isn't the second one better as I can just open up the ends and dictate how large of an area i want it to cover????

DWC set up. 1 tub. tub is 4 feet by 8 feet. 2k worth of lights. i've seen people do 128 plants in and ebb and flow in this set up. is that what i'm looking for? No veg - Clone to Flower. CO2.

it's a dumb question. cause one person could grow for 2 months and another for 6 months under the same 400 watt light. different set ups too. hydro? soil? vertical? if you get .5 per gram consider yourself good and happy.

Was going to have a 2 room set up. 1 room where the plants grow would have Carbon Filter then shoot it into a second room which would either have another Carbon Filter or an Ozone generator???

yeah i pretty much flushed. it's just really hot in the grow area and i guess not enough humidity.

would this rejuvenate the smell? yeah they were way to dry even after i added orange peel. i opened it up for 3 hours and bam dry again. is it bad to remoisten them over and over again?

Okay so I did the orange peel thing in the jar once. But again it dried totally in the jar. Can I KEEP adding the orange peel to the jar? It should be a little moist and sticky no? Also, it doesn't have any smell other than fainter cut grass. Will smell eventually come'? I initially dried it...

well i have tents inside this room. i wanted to seal it to block out smell and noise.

hmm i see that he uses big ones. which are fine. but what about small ones where I just have the new growth and a few leaves up top. NO FAN LEAVES. or any that even grew yet (but they would if I let it grow for longer). are those fine???
