eh, I think that second quote is not right. Listen to this... Most commercial light meters measure light in foot-candles or lux. Both scales measure light to which the human eye reacts to "see." They DO NOT measure photosynthetic response to light in PAR watts....

Lumens measure light intensity, which has everyting to do with growth. It's one of the components that helps determine the light efficiency/intensity in your grow room. HID lamps are bright-very very bright. Growers who properly manage this intense brightness harvest more weed per watt...

It really just depends on how big your plants are. My seedlings got like maybe 2 cups of water, but now that I am flower I give them about a liter everytime I water.

Yes, the end of the cable will have a the prongs to go into an outlet. They are sockets, and yes they do have double sockets. Like I said before 2 27w cfl's will just not be enough for 2 plants in the veg state. For two plants I would use like 6 of these. What is the square feet of your grow box?
