Impact of Medical Marijuana on Prices

I live in a medical state (Maine), in fact two towns have completely legalized it, including recreational use too. I'm sure the rest of the state will follow soon. Pot grown outdoors is hard to sell here. Outdoor weed can be had for cheap here, maybe 1k for a lb. Indoor, good quality medical...

    irritated with edibles

stop buying your edibles, and trusting someone else not to rip you off. human nature is they will rip you off, make your own.and you'll know what went into it. I've tried all sorts of edibles, pills, tinctures and even creams. I kinda liked honey infused with ganja, but nothing beats good ol'...

Advanced Nutrient: Connoisseur A/B + organic combo (huge buds!)

interesting read indeed, once I learned to skip over all the bullshit anyways.... I got a couple comments, I got no problem using ph perfect connoisseur lineup, You should be aware that the ph perfect is made to be used with ro water. Dont go out and buy a pre packaged lineup, pick and choose...

    need help with cannabutter asap

There are several reasons for using unsalted butter, salt is a natural preservative, as such, unsalted butter is fresher. it has to be. salted butter will last for 3 months in your fridge, unsalted will last one month. If you have a problem with a recipe, salt could mask the smell of the...

    need help with cannabutter asap

first off, no matter if you make clarified butter or not, always, always use unsalted butter when making budder. second making clarified butter does indeed increase the temp at which point it starts to smoke. butter will start to smoke at about 325, clarified butter wont smoke til almost 500...

    need help with cannabutter asap

Dan, I agree with most of what you've said. Fact is thats almost exactly how we make it here. I've been making budder for about 20 years now, and I've never had my budder turn rancid on me. I try to make a months worth at a time, about a qp of weed to 4 lbs of butter. If you dont have any...

that 7 or 10 grams is fine for one stick of butter or a qp. than you have to find a recipe that asks for only a qp of butter. my brownie recipe calls for a full lb of budder. I'm sure you'll find something to do with it though. Personally I'd get more weed, even some trim or male plants to add...

    BUD WASHING- the truth

This is akin to the old water curing method from years ago. yes it works. yes it smoothes out the smoke. yes you do loose a little extra weight this way but you get a better product. you would not want to do this to a strain known for its flavor, like say bubble gum... as you will loose the...

    need help with cannabutter asap

yeah if I was using 7 grams, I'd want it stronger too. Try upping the amount of weed to an oz of weed to a lb of butter. That's how I do it here, and most people I know do too. good luck buddy

my 1st dwc grow ever, would love advice

I do have a ph pen and a ppm pen too. the nutes claim to be ph adsjusting,. so long as your using ro water. if the nutes are not self adjusting, I am ready for that. He may be giving bad advice, its certainly possible. He does however have a long standing reputation for his knowledge in DWC...

my 1st dwc grow ever, would love advice

hey buddy, thanks for your input. I had this very same conversation with the person advising me.... He repeatedly assured me to start in pro mix and when i place it into the DWC tank, to leave the plant in pro mix, and support it with the hydroton around it. He said a little bit of the promix...

Greetings everyone, I've been an avid dirtbag my entire life with a couple of exceptions/experiments many years ago. I have no problem growing in soil, and I have a working knowledge above average, as I'm sure most of you here do. I cant continue to grow in soil as it is just too much damn work...

    organic vs chemical vs elements

While I will agree that a dialed in organic grow may rival the yields in hydro....no kid with a 3 pack of foxfarm is gonna come close.....and I like foxfarm, it just takes a lot more than that. as you said a dialed in grow, that takes a lot of work, lifting, mixing and what not. an organic dirt...
