dude, you should be fine, this looks like the strain I just had. with the growth of the first three sets of leaves, the previous set turned yellow, brown, then died. After that, it grew like a bush. It was so compact it looked like it was budding when it was in veg. Definately watch the heat...

thank you GI, but I'm talking about harvest, not cured buds. The buds will turn color as they cure usually, I just wondered about trichome color and if it was noticable with the naked eye.

So should it be evident with the naked eye that the leaves may be "tinted" a particular color based on the maturity of the trichomes?

I have heard that potency is drastically reduced by moving a plant back into the vegging stage, and it takes twice as long to get it to return to flowering stage. Cannabis was meant to die after producing flowers, don't f&@* with nature. :)
