Yes ,I saw that ,etymology unknown.......Just rolled a fat one and started some research online. Will keep you posted ,and even yell "eureka!!" from my window if I ever manage to dig out some info.:)

The link only shows that the top bud is called a Cola ,which I knew. I was asking rather how it got its name......

Update - day 30 since poking through soil The DIY carbon filter does its job well ,the smell has disappeared from the room. I had stopped the ventilation yesterday ,just for a minute , while removing some DVD cases from under the pot.................and I was actually feeling the smell creeping...

Day 23 Moved some fan leaves out of the way in order to expose bud sites.Used some C-shaped pieces of gardening wire to keep them tucked under the tiny side branches. Will start a light nute solution next time I water.

Update Day 20 since birth ,more and more pistils.It is starting to smell ,quite bad for its age -not a single bud has yet formed-- ,and for what is being advertised as a "stealthy" strain. Had to improvise a carbon filter. Did your SS#1 stink also? What is the average "finish" time for this...

yes ,my schedule has always been 18/6 ,forgot to mention it.Even if I wanted to do 24/0 ,there would be too much heat in the first place. This is my third auto ,I did 2 consecutive Betty Boo -shortest strain from J.Dr.- a couple of years ago in the same space 1ft x 1ft x 2 ft mini tent..18/6...

Thanks for the "both bulbs" hint. In my head ,I was certain that they would produce too much heat in my small space and had planned to use only the 125w . Turned out to be wrong ,max temps ever were 28 degrees C (only for a short while) with both bulbs - and .The Stuff is really taking...
