This is how they were 2 weeks ago.......since then ,more and more leaves ,can barely see the calyxes.......I don't understand why ....is it strain specific or something? The plant still has at least 2-3 weeks left ,by the clarity of the trichs......

Strain is Short Stuff#1 ,day 53 since sprouting.......more and more leaves seem to be growing out of the side buds.Why?

PS - the buds seem kinda leafy ,I don't know if it is specific to the strain ,or due to improper conditions (crammed grow space ,heat ,etc ) My main suspect is however ,the aquarium water I've been using ,because fish poo = Nitrates and Phosphates. N= Vegetation ,so it might have stimulated...

Day 53 Orange hairs are predominant ,yet the trichs are still clear for the most part........ Not sure if the predominance of orange hairs is specific to this strain ,or did they turn like that because of increasing temps from last week? Anyway ,the heat wave is gone ,hope that the weather...

On the buds they are still clear ,starting to turn milky ,and the occasional amber here and there. I didn't realize that there was a difference between trichs on the buds and trichs on the hairs

Strain is Short Stuff #1 I'm only at day 50 ,and a lot of amber trichs......I would like to postpone chopping though as much as possible ,in hope she will pack more bud. How long do you think she has left??

What size pot are you using and how tall did they become? As for chop time ,u should check the trichomes with a microscope ,or mabe a camera with macro zoom. The light seems to be CFL ,we can see some spirals in the 1st pic.

W Most Short Stuff strains I've seen in journals were cut around day 70-75 When you say "she will get bigger after 60 days" ,do you mean pack more bud? Because stretching stopped about 2 weeks ago..........

day 49 She has taken quite a beating the last couple of days ,we had hot weather, up to 95 degrees temp in my area ......maybe because .....it;s Summer?:) Of course ,I have no air conditioning ,and I suffered from the heat alongside her...... Anyway she seems to be holding up pretty well...

Thanks for reminding me about ventilation ,I used to have a small ,yet very powerful PC processor fan to move the air inside. I had disabled it for a while ,it was getting in the way ,as I had it positioned at that time. It was rather noisy and has even chopped the tip of a fan leaf...

What is the "bud on a stick look"? Somehow it makes me think at the County Fair ,yet I doubt it has anything to do with it.........:)

Usually ,I drop the seed into a transparent cup of water ,it will sink after not more than 24 h...........after another 24-48 hours ,it will crack.................. As soon as I see the seed cracked and the white "content" is showing ,I bury it less than an inch deep . Never had problems so far.

I would like to ask for some opinions about 2 issues : This yellowing at the tips of only the upper fan leaves 1st pic ,I suspect heat stress ,there is also a curved up leaf to the right And this yellowing of the lower fan leaves ,which I suspect as N defficiency ,or maybe nute water spash...

Day 37 Starting to fill in......Had to stop using on the side 40watter CFL ,it was bringing up the temp too much ,and the fan leaves would always touch it and burn their tips. Better safe than sorry.
