Isn't it already composted? It looks like what you find in a bag of compost from the nursery. Its been sitting there for god knows how long.

I've got similar problem. It's worms. Look in the affected flowers all around. You will probably see little worm droppings or even a little caterpillar. A lot of us outdoor growers on west coast are getting hit. From what I've heard they come every year and wipe out gardens from Mexico to Canada.

These pics were taken about half an hour ago. Dry weight? Your guess is as good as mine. I havn't weighed it wet yet. I grew in 10 gls. of soil under the beautiful sun, using a lot of organic compost teas and guano teas for the flower phase.

What do you think about getting into the aero system for a beginer? I've read that it is a lot more tempermental as compared to an ebb and flow or other techniques. Clogged sprayers and fluctuating ph levels. Any thoughts?
