    Strawberries in curing jars?

Do what you need to do but if you like strawberries, eat them. Bud should smoke and taste like bud. Orange peel is used to rehydrate over dried buds, not really for flavor. What I am saying is not gospel, just what works for me.

    Soundproofing the walls?

5/8th drywall, 2x4 stud, insulation, 5/8th drywall again. Metal exterior door. It's not rocket science. You won't need to do anything fancy.

Should I use an air pump in my resivoir for ebb and flow?

Larger res means more stable temps. First, what is your res temp? If you can keep your res below 70 degrees with air, you're golden. I use frozen water bottles in mine. Crude but it works.

The valve is used for pumping the water out. Mine at times will have some water move back and forth to cause the float to rock and kick on and off. It's basically a one way valve so water pumped out of the controller bucket never rushes back in.

I emailed a guy at cap and per his email he says that the check valve was supposed to be included. It took about 2-3 weeks from his email but I got one. It's friggen huge.

    Ebb & Grow Monster question

If you wanted to add more buckets to the factory 6 x5 gal kit. You could add more of the smaller ones and just have them raised to meet the max fill line. Hope this makes sense.

    Portable AC

Your temps aren't really that far off. I would add c02 to take advantage of the low 80 temp. You are better off getting a dehumidifier when lights go off. I use an ac and a dehumidifier. Keep the ac on 24-7 and kick the dehumidifier on when lights go off.

    Ebb & Grow Monster question

Just my opinion but unless you plan on growing some trees the monster is not needed.

You can run as many buckets as you want. Just need a larger res than what is supplied.

    Which Digital Ballast?

The overdrive feature on the lumetechs make no sense to me. Do they really output more than on 100 % ? if so how? If I have a 1000w, on overdrive is it running 1100w? Do I really want that for my bulb rated at 1000w? have you seen a quantum at 100% vs a lumetech on overdrive? You may wonder...

Any Advice on a Quiet Inline Exhaust Fan?

Not knowing a thing about the inline fan you have I can tell you what I did to reduce the noise on my 8" can fan. A larger muffler. You can make one yourself easily. Use insulated ducting where possible and build a soundproof box for your fan or wrap it in a sleeping bag.
