    No. Nice plants though.

help me get rid of the smell. what can i use?

Depends on what you mean with "little bit of light". Why not aim for pitch black? I suspect that how much light a plant tolerates during night depends on the intensity of the daytime-light. In other words, a 1000 watt setup will tolerate a little bit more light-leaks than a 250 watt setup. I...

what is this growing from the top of my main cola???? day 51 flowering

Reminds me of the foxtailing I got when I had a light-leak. Harvest was delayed a lot. But I've not seen a plant like that.

help weird leaf problem.. please help..

Just a quick advice, don't cut all bad leaves as they are useful both for you (diagnosing, observe response) and the plant (as long as it has some green). (unless it's fungus, which I have no experience with). Citric acid (powder) is what I use for PH-down when growing in organic media. It will...

New High Times Suggests Harvesting Earlier...RIU Rejoice!

Why the f*ck should I chop when clear? And no, most people don't know. Maybe not here, but on most forums I read they say chop when 50% amber (which is crap IMHO). If the article is about harvesting when clear, then it probably is crap. I've not read it.

New High Times Suggests Harvesting Earlier...RIU Rejoice!

I guess he's simply writing what people are beginning to realise. CBD and CBN is not the same, and peak THC is not amber. Peak THC will give couchlock, depending on genetics. Some people are harvesting their Indicas too late, thinking the more amber the better.

chopped and hanging in tent is this good conditions ?

Sounds good, you want it to dry very slowly so some humidity is OK. Just watch out for mold (break up or loosen big colas, remember circulation and exhaust).

    Trichomes, cloudy=good, amber=shit

When I started the thread, I believed everybody cured their harvest, but based on the replies I guess most people don't cure at all.

Is a 20,000 HZ digital ballast good? i just heard 50,000 exists is there a diference?

Our human eyes don't see the flicker, but the plants might? Just look at all those pictures on this forum with those vertical "bands" (stripes) covering the whole photo. That is an analog ballast flickering. Digital ballasts should eliminate this "problem", as they flicker much much faster...

    Scientific method to curing?

This is the best thread on curing I've found: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=156237 It will take the guesswork away. I believe this is where previous poster got the information.

    Trichomes, cloudy=good, amber=shit

@Brick Top: Finally, somebody with a brain :-) +rep Let the "50% amber at HARVEST"-people smoke their oxidized THC. I'll have to search for strains with more CBD.

    Trichomes, cloudy=good, amber=shit

I'm trying to harvest an Indica plant (N.L.) at the correct time, I want a couchlock/narcotic high that can put me to sleep. I'm starting to believe that harvesting at peak THC (cloudy) is what will give the best effect, and that this will give couch-lock effect if it's an Indica. So no need...

    how many plants could 4...

It's impossible to answer you question without more information. How strong light (Watts)? What color-temperature (Kelvin)? How much space do you have? Etc... If I remember correctly, 50 watts pr. square feet is needed.

Switched to flower Stage 5th Dec ... What do you thin ???

@925Grow'N: When you harvest at 50-70% cloudy, like you say (I guess you have done this before), how many % amber would you get after curing? I try to harvest at the same time as you, when most thrics are cloudy. Not amber, as even buds with no amber will get it during curing. I guess all the...

    Darkness for Flowering

I would not do this. However, in nature you have lightning-storms etc. So a VERY brief time might be OK (if you can water in miliseconds :-)

    Darkness for Flowering

How much light a plant tolerate during night-time is related to the intensity of light during the day. A plant under 250W will not tolerate much light-leak, compared to a 1000 watt setup. This is just a guess, I have no sources for this. Anyway, I aim for pitch black. Oh, and do not believe...

Whats Wrong With Her?? Got Pics----CRITICAL MASS

I noticed, during flowering, that all my plants would look great for about 6 hours after light turned on, but then they all would start to droop. Every day, like clockwork. Someone told me it was too much light for the plants to handle (or more correctly, something else was missing for it to...
