The sex of a seed is not only genetics, but environment. Early in veg, you can set up the environment to favor females. I don't remember the factors, but if you search you'll find how to increase chances for females (temp, light-spectrum, amount N in medium etc). I don't know if this is true...

I've grown it once, 5 plants from seed. They stretched a lot, but was easy to grow. It was a hungry plant too. As for the smoke (potency and taste), it was the best I've grown (really, but I only have 3 grows behind me).

@Nitro1990: I have never grown several generations (clones of clones) myself, but I can't see why it should get stronger? Doesn't make sense to me.

I didn't read the whole thread, but fresh compost will have nutrients, including Ca and Mg.

Paint your pots white, or do something simliar to reflect that heat (and light). edit: was just my first thought, I have never tried that as I don't have that problem.

I've never grown at that scale, but isn't that fan blowing hot air from above your lights (of your healthy plants) downwards towards the ones that are sick? I'm sure you have a reason for the odd (so high up, pointing down) placement of the fan, sorry for no answers.

Sorry, no real answers, just speculation (I'm a dirt-grower). Your night-temps are OK, but make sure - as only a few degrees colder at night could lock out nutrients (it does seem hungry, which is odd as it's so young - but like I said I grow in dirt).

It's hard to see the plants structure when it's tiny, but how long before they differ I don't know. If you really have one Sativa plant, then it probably will get thinner leaves as time goes on. However, today I find it's impossible to classify plants by look - unless you've grown the strain...

There is no question about it, plants need air during dark time too. I would not shut down exhaust during night. But if you think they could cope with less, one solution could be setting a timer on the exhaust (on/off every 30 minutes?)
