Just wanted to give a run down on how i start seeds. I have had very good results with this method, so i thought i would share it. Start with the water.. I use tap water...Let it sit for 2 days (to remove chlorine). I then boil the water for about 5 minutes. Let cool, adjust my ph... i go for...

What i usually do ,because i can never tell if it's lock out or lack of nutrents...so i always flush my medium reallly good....than put fresh nutes next watering

i "ran" in to seeds...but after i saw some pics of the magic merlin and gorilla grape ...i definitely had to check it out....looks crazy...but just google outlaw genetics....but i don't think there selling seeds right now...although i heard like biz bay might have them?

it's just 12 dollar fixture's and six dollar bulbs in my closet....t-8 bulbs

just an update- 9 of 10 magic merlin germinated 4 of 5 feminized purple ceres seeds germinated clones are all doin great too..

No i didn't drop the temps...i got the 1000w hps....I don't have the "means" to drop em enough....it was in summer...i had probems keepin it under 80....i live in an apt. so....gotta keep it "quiet"...it didn't turn purple..it was straight up lime green....almost looked like dream queen...but...

i got 1000w hps hydrofarm with hydrolux EYE bulb..those lights hanging are 5000k 150 watt floro's ....i had 4foot floro's underneath...I've never used the uvb's....but i've heard a lot about them...they help a lot?:bigjoint:

I agree ...i use the T8's...the fixture is $12 and the bulbs are 2 for $6 at walmart....I think the lumen' s are a little higher with T8 than T12..and about the same price?
