it's possible. you'd have to plant a few times during the winter though as your plants would flower as soon as they were able. also you'd have to start them indoors and possibly use a greenhouse. indoor would be better/easier.

wow this is your first grow? they look fucking beautiful. during a flush the leaves can change all kinds of colors as the nutrients are drained out of them... all perfectly normal though and looks pretty cool imo. jesus loves you.

i've found that "rule of thumb" to be completely false i can put my hand like 1" from the light and be completely comfortable... but if my plant gets within 8-10" leaves start to curl.

yeah that's the bare minimum for growth. not optimal at all.

gonna need more than one t5. cfl's are good because the light isn't spread out over a large area and you don't need a ballast or special fixture. if you use tubes you're gonna need a lot of them... same with cfl's so whichever works better for you. you need 5k lumens/sq.ft
