Yeah I did the same thing but opposite. I was on 24/0 then switched to 18/6 and thought that they had slowed when I switched to 18/6. I think it depends on whether you can afford the cost of having them on all the time

Have a tent close to that size and i think the fan is fine and i use passive right now because my exhaust removes enough air that it creates negative pressure in the tent so the smell isn't such a problem

Personally I use 24/7 Light in my veg have had good result. Some people with pulls stats from everywhere saying that it does no good or you get 30% more growth but I am doing it just cause electric bill isn't a issue and I personally believe it does grow more. But to each there own.

nothing terrible just take a little time to adjust back to veg but it wasn't in flower for to long so it shouldn't be bad.

I'm new as well and no expert by any means but I think the Knuck is right about the watering. You may also want to check the ph of your soil. A Moisture/Light/PH tester is pretty cheap from a Home Depot...
