The CFL's could work, but I think a 400 watt mh/hps would work to. But I would find a way to cool the HID. I only suggest the HID just because I believe you would get more out of it.

The only thing i can suggest is time and maybe checking the PH of your soil. Also I have no experience with MG but the only other thing i can think of is that whatever nuts your giving might not be enough or what your needing for flowering which I believe would cause a slower flowering

I have a 400W was going to go with a 600W but space and cash forced me to get the 400W. I'm fine with it though easier for me to handle the heat in the space.
