Dont think clay is a good medium :-? Is this outdoor ? .....clay would be pretty tough for the roots to get through. Poking holes in the soil will help with watering and to aerate the roots :mrgreen:

In certain conditions they can last many years :blsmoke: I am now taking clones off a mother grown from a seed that i picked out of a bag ,at least ..15 years ago (wicked skunk that happened to have 2 seeds in the oz) . keep in cool, dark....mine weren't air tight but ..doesnt hurt . Checkout...
