Each strain is different, depends also on how cold its getting at night. Theres no real answer, it just happens during flowing in time, sometimes.

Bodhi is my current fav, world of seeds makes good seeds as well.

You would get a lot of purp if you get the temps to drop at night, otherwise you'd be lucky if you get a little bit.

He could go with just 4-6 in his room using the scrog method, hes got 4 months there so he could easily veg for almost 2 months. As long as he gets an 8 week strain that is, and gets his seeds going before he moves in under some CFLs.

All the sativas i've grown have been dense and not fluffy. Buds get fluffy when the temps are too high and are stressed out, at least thats the impression i've been given. But yes, indicas are def easier to grow.

Well if you plan on using co2 you can get it up to 85 F, you'd want to def use a Sativa strain of some sort. (Just look up some Asian sativa strains, or even some african) Also, just get a small AC unit for 100$ 5k BTU. Doesn't matter what strain you use to "alert" neighbors, them seeing you...

Yeah it was getting wayyy too hot with just the bare bulb, had to grab a cool tube. 85 during the day, 72 at night. (co2 enriched)

Dont prune, top once it has 4/5 nodes. Do research as well, the best way to learn is to just go at it though.
