whoa... i didnt see the pix. yea, you wont need to trim til about wk 3-4 (if at all), you could get a bigger top cola if you cut all branches except the main (once they form), but there will most likely be no need. I love the novelty of the tiny grow(i miss my cupboard lol) respect!

generally: trim off bottom third of plant. but like you said; that depends. if ventillation and plant spacing is good, you can leave the whole plant(i have, and it was more than fine). but if ventillation is poor or if plants are overcrowded the extra foliage can present an issue(pests, mildew)...
