If you are overwatering try spiking your water with a little peroxide. This will introduce oxygen to the roots and kill the bacteria that rot them. It will make for healthier roots making up for that lost yield.

If you suspect root rot add peroxide to the water diluted. Oxygen kills the bacteria that cause rot. I use it for the added growth spurt alone. There is a such thing as too much however so use cation.
