That might've been the problem man, CFLs gotta be a lot closer than that especially with the little ones. Try one with the bulb around 4" away and it should help.

Nice, I just got an LED and starting 6 clones under it to see how they do. Rooted them under some CFLs, giving them another week to veg then flowering them.

Not sure, maybe try using a slightly larger CFL or both of those small lights together for the clone? I use 23w CFLs for rooting clones and it works really well for me.

Should be an interesting grow, haven't seen too many people using the Kessils. Very interested in this.

Hopefully one of the methods will work out for ya, I'd recommend trying a few cheap DIY approaches before buying any units though, those things are far too expensive and once you've got the hang of it cloning is easy. It's usually just the first couple times trying it that people seem to run...
