You are right about the T5's, they kick ass. My point was just that he already has the T12 fixtures, so if T8's would fit into them he could gain efficiency without buying new fixtures.

Do T8 tubes fit into T12 lamps? I believe T8's are more efficient, but not sure

I like soil as well, I use oven baked soil mixed with perlite. I filter my tap water and let it sit at least 24 hrs before adding nutes and watering. I top and prune my plants. I'm sure there are better methods but this works for me. I'm gonna give DWC a try sometime in the near future though

Put numbers on the plants you have now, then take clones and put the number from the original plant on each clone. A couple weeks after you put the plants into 12/12 they'll show sex and you can kill the males and corresponding clones. Don't put them into flower then back into veg.

You have a separate exhaust fan as well as a your AC exhausting out of the room ? If yes maybe kill the secondary exhaust and/or put the intake fan on a timer, ie on for a certain amount of minutes each hour

Pyrethryn spray, or get some predator mites
