Dems move to change federal pot laws

http://www.salon.com/2013/02/04/dems_move_to_change_federal_pot_laws/ I wonder what Polis' constituents think about his bill that would force cannabis producers to pay a 50% tax to the federal government. If you add that 50% federal tax with the 15% state wholesale tax and like 10% in...

    Testing the Law

It's not that easy. I-25 passes right through Greenwood Village. Let's say I live in Denver and I decide to take some legal cannabis with me when I drive down to Colorado Springs to visit some friends. Am I supposed to go out of my way and not drive through Greenwood Village because some...

    Testing the Law

I don't agree. In a dry county or town, you can't buy alcohol, but that doesn't mean you can't legally possess alcohol. I think the ordinance will eventually get struck down and just end up costing the city a lot of money in lawyers fees. It reminds me of when a city on the Front Range (think...

Can I trim roots hanging into the bottom bucket?

Will you post a link? I did some googling and didn't find the buckets you described.

Can I trim roots hanging into the bottom bucket?

After my plants have spent about two weeks in the CAP monster buckets, my ebb & gro system basically turns into a recirculating DWC system because I always have tons of roots that grow down into the water in the lower buckets. I don't mind it because I come from a DWC background and I like that...

Hydro w/ Serious Seeds, White Russian (Fem)

I had a great experience with WR fem seeds last year. I plan to grow it quite a bit in the coming years. I topped all of them after two weeks of veg and threw them into flower after nineteen days of veg when they were only about six inches tall. I use GH flora series with the lucas formula in...

    Ripped Bubba Hermie

In my experience, Ripped Bubba is hermie prone. I've grown six or seven TGA strains and Ripped Bubba is the only one that's hermed on me. That said, the females that didn't herm on me produced some of the best looking and tastiest nugs that I've ever grown.

Anyone actually using an iPonic 600?

This is my first winter with the iponic 600 and I recently had to make a change to it to keep the humidity levels in check. During winter, I don't need A/C so my dehumidifier has been getting some use lately. The dehumidifier wasn't keeping up with the humidity in the room. I noticed that the...

    Dimmable Ballasts

My environmental controller has a sensor with a built-in light meter. I have Phantom 1000w dimmable ballasts. From what I've noticed using HPS, the 75% setting is just about exactly 75% of the 100% setting. However, the 60% setting is only about 40% of the 100% setting. Also with MH/HPS...

Ohioan non patient moving to denver. Considering MMJ

You have it backwards. With a red card, you can have six plants and up to two ounces in your home or on your person when you leave home. Under 64, you can have six plants and everything you harvest from those plants in your home. And you can have an ounce on your person whenever you leave...

    Spacedawg pheno search

Here's my space dawgs after seventeen days of veg and 18 days of flower. The two on the far left are noticeably taller than the rest of the plants. The one on the front far right has a completely different leaf structure than the rest of the plants and it kind of looks like a smaller version...

    Spacedawg pheno search

I'm running Space Dawg for the first time right now. They're twelve days into flower and 83% of them ended up being female. That has to be the best female percentage that I've ever gotten since I started growing. So far so good...

    economics of mary in colorado

In my opinion, the drop in price during the last three years has less to do with an increase in supply and more to do with cities like Denver and Boulder having more dispensaries than Starbucks. A dispensary owner in the mountains can still get $250 for a medium grade ounce of nugs whereas a...

Number of plants for no card?

Those lawyers should be so lucky. Then they could make a ton of money off all of the people being busted. Any sort of co-op idea won't have a chance after the state regulates this new industry to death by July 1st. In the same way that 1284 regulated caregivers out of existence, the 64...

Number of plants for no card?

You'd better take a close look at the local laws regulating home grows if you want something like an atrium. There are some areas in Colorado where you'd be fully compliant and there are other areas where an atrium wouldn't be considered as a secured location by the local authorities.

Number of plants for no card?

The grows don't have to be separate under 20 or 64. But if you want to be fully compliant, it would be a good idea to look up how your local municipality has already regulated 20 grows because I'm sure they'll enforce the same or similar regulations on 64 grows.

Best Strain to help me sleep?

I'm flowering White Russian right now and tried a couple of test nugs for the first time today. I'm definitely going to have to take a nap this afternoon. But I hadn't smoked in 6+ weeks so your mileage may vary.

Best Strain to help me sleep?

I grew some Ripped Bubba this year. It's a herm prone strain, but I managed to get three female phenos that produced the best tasting and best looking nugs I've ever grown. I wouldn't say it's the strongest stuff I've ever grown. My phenos had more of a cerebral effect than an indica narcotic...
