How many lights do you reckon I will need? Going to be using a 250w HPS hung in a space that is 170cm high, net area for the plant will probably be 120cm or so. will i need two lights or will one be fine hung in the middle?

I have an option of inch (25mm) or 2 inch (50mm) available to me, what do you reckon I should go for? 50mm is a lot more expensive but insulating properties will be better.

How do you know ;-) ha ha. Just out of curiosity are you scrog'ing those plants or how many you got going (clone, Veg, Flower) you have my mind thinking all evil ideas! What size is each finished plant? oooooo I can still alter my grow room design.

hey techorganics, NIIIIICE one you got there, roughly what size was the plant when finished i.e would it fit in a 3x3 grow tent? I want to do something like this, but i need to make sure it fits into my hidden area for unexpected visitors if you get my drift.

Wow 12oz, thats great! so that was 400w on a vertical grow? what size tent? how many plants? I want to do one, just finding out what size and situations people are growing in.

Did you get 13oz (dry) from those pics? what size was that tent? Got some good old fat colas on them! good luck with the loft grow! I am trying to do something similar myself although put a vertical system in as I really want to try and see if i can improve my yields by growing vertically...

I think 400w would be a bot over kill, considering space, although it has been mentioned that a 250w hps may be a better option. Good shout about when to start the flower cycle though, I have been thinking about it. Am I right to think that the plant will increase in height by about 2 to 3...
