I believe it is a near freeze that turns the green bud "purple". Not at all like a true purple strain in her smoke tho........

I prefer fresh soil. IMO it is worth the minimal investment for fresh Fox Farm's Ocean Forest soil for my plants. With that stuff I don't need nutes until flowering. I love it. Painless and predictable.........

Naw. Sunlight is best, but you need 16 hours of it to veg and 12 of it to flower. Days are too short in winter......

I grow in FF OF soil and do not add nutes until flower and then only 1/4 strength. Temps ok and light ok but 600hps MUCH better. Hurry.

Well, you may try bending them - but inside a grow closet that may not give you the room you need. If you were in veg, I would say prune away. Pruning in flowering may stunt growth or cause hermies (I hear). I am facing the same problem. What I am doing is keeping my light on 24 hours and...
