I'd go soil. Hydro is so much more complicated and expensive. Soil is better for a noob, imo. I have done both and I am predominately a dirtbag grower now...... and MUCH happier.

too much water for one thing. let the soil get dry before watering again. Your soil should have perlite mixed into it as well. like 3:1 ratio for good drainage. every 2 days is just WAY too wet.... especially without perlite, bro.
