Yes its safe. Your only putting the bags on the girl in the evening and taking them off in the morning. So unless its quite hot during the evening when you put the bags on then I don't see a problem. Just increasing the dark period to 12+ hrs so the bag shouldnt be on it long enough to do harm...

I would agree with that. The lettuce seemed to be more of a slow release of moisture. It allows you to get the desired moisture content slowly rather than dry to super wet in 30 mins with a wet paper towel :)

I've tried lettuce before. Same concept in the container with the dried bud. Works much the same as a wet paper towl. Maybe not as fast but still works.
