    Yeah Id have to agree that keeping your potted girls in the greenhouse will help them develop a bit faster. I dont know your temps out on the west coast now but assume its a bit colder than the mideast this time of year. Those babies need blankets, keep em in the 'nursery' for a little bit. RDG

    yeah find some form of compost. its pretty dense but it'll help feed your plants also. I picked up 9- 40lb bags of composted manure and mushroom compost for under $4.00 a bag. check the link in my signature out it may help with ideas.
