It may effect your quantity of bud but i doubt the quality will decrease. The in initial stretch may be due to a lack of sunlight. Id like to see how your kaya turns out

yeah find some form of compost. its pretty dense but it'll help feed your plants also. I picked up 9- 40lb bags of composted manure and mushroom compost for under $4.00 a bag. check the link in my signature out it may help with ideas.
