Im hoping to do 12 to 20 2' by 2' holes. However There is red clay 4 inches under the regular topsoil so im wondering if this would work so the roots dont rot getting stuck in a puddle the clay wont absorb. Its kinda like a irrigation system using multiple techniques to deal with the clay problem.
