Ladybugs! I also suggest neem oil. Reapply every day or every other. I use SNS 209 from beginning to end. It keeps almost everything away and gets rid of gnats and aphids too at triple strength, but I've never had a terrible aphid problem, just mild so I'm not sure if the sns will help.
