These are guesses - PH fluctuation and/or heat damage - Taco leaves mean PH changed quickly burnt tips and edges looks like water evaporating too quickly from the leaf. How close are they to the light source, and what type of light are u using? Is it 83f in the room, or at the top of the plants?

depends on how big the plants will be on harvest date. you could have two 4 foot plants in the 18gallons, or four 2-2.5 feet tall plants (or one 7-10 foot plant). Not sure why (probably read it somewhere), but i try for 2 gallons per foot of plant squared.

"should" be fine. All comes down to PPM(tds) and PH. without meters, you can only guess. The plants will not always eat the same nutes at the same rate, which could cause your mix to get out of balance and have PH/PPM problems (which are hard to fix without meters, or a res change).

Dont know, i hooked up my own timer to the lights the day i got it. The manual doesnt say what each setting does. you will just have to try and see...

salad greens for all phases... thats keeps the pump running 24/7. use an independent timer and plug for the lights. I wouldnt recommend flowering in these, your yields will be light and fluffy.

hehe... start with your shwaggy bag seed while you attempt to get good genetics. Yes, you can grow good bud from shwag seeds... its not as easy, as the genetics are used to being grown outdoor under the sun (not inside with limited range HID spectrums)... So, they will get HUGE... easily...
