This thread is old but you have the right idea about using a 12v adapter to power the fans. Just take the PSU out. It's not worth trying to run anything off it. Also it makes heat and takes up space and you're already very limited on space.

Would a prepaid Visa be worth trying? It sounds like ordering scripts online is pretty sketchy, but around here, getting pills is pretty sketchy too. That's why I usually stay with my nuggets, but I'm trying to get a feel for whether or not ordering scripts online would be worth a go.
