Wow thanx for the reply. I add around 1/3 perlite in my mix for areation. So peat is better outdoors. I googled peat moss vs coco and a couple diffrent discisions came up. Will update when finnished reading them.

I allways used peat as the base of my medium. They are all outdoor grows. Has any one notice a difference between the two?

I seen a couple people changing the color by adjusting the p/h of the soil. Can't remember where I sen it. They hed some unique colors. I am sure it affects the yeild. I will try to find the web site or thread.
