i agree and have some solutions in the works. i'm working on designing/building a reflector made of mylar to put above the lights to reflect light back down. i did the lights this way as my grow area doesn't have a good way to put lights between the plants. it's an idea i have considered and...

hopefully not. the bulbs are clear from anything flammable. wires are run, zip tied and routed away from heat. i have numerous circuit breakers - in the timer and each outlet tree. i am going to clean up the wiring a little bit but i think its pretty safe.
