It is so true. I have seen some people do amazing things with cfl. Put some 400w hps/mh growers to shame. Lol. The exception of course, not the rule but I think allot depends on the grower.

i cant speak to the seed thing but where did all your fan leaves go? next time leave your fan leaves on man, the plant needs those to grow big fat buds. Why did you chop them up so bad? The fan leaves are what carry out most of the photosynthesis which is what gives the plant energy to produce bud.

I would say without any buds it cant really be called a cola. It is just the main growth shoot during veg. Once it starts packing on bud it can rightfully be called a cola. I have never really heard a person refer to the top of a vegging plant as a cola. Just my opinion but I think most people...

I do this, it works well. I let them go about another week - week and a half. I have clones vegging and when I cut the top colas I switch the clone veg room into flower. Then I harvest the rest of the plants about a week and a half later and move the already flowering clones into the flower room...
