just curious if a 125W (uses only 30w haha) CFL light is enough for 3 small plants (1-10days old) is enough it puts out 2000 lumens.... just curious about that all comments and help please =)

So ive been thinking of creating a nice 4x4x6 grow room, would it be a good idea to have like 2 cfl tubes running up each side of the room and a 400w at the top or is there such thing as too much light?

I'd always wondered about this but ive never researched it or tried it out, but if you use colored cfls would it have an effect

thanks all, another question is it bad to have on the lights 24/7 rather then at an 18 hour cycle

So a 13w CFL bulb would be better then the 60w reg light bulb? because thats the only one i have on hand

i cant get the right bulbs until the weekend maybe, and the sprouts look pretty healthy with just using the regular bulb... so it would be best to get a metal halide bulb and then after vegatation get an HPS? and will using the normal bulb effect the plant for the next 5 days? like putting the...

I'm a total noob, and this is my first grow, ive got a couple of plants growing and they are about 4-8 inches and its about day 5 in soil... so if im using a regular light bulb from about a foot away whats the problem with that?
