Are digital ballast worth the extra cost? They say that they save bulb life, use less electricity, runs cooler, and a few other things... I was just wondering if anybody has owned both digital and "core and coil" ballasts, and if so was there that much difference?

i disagree... i think that you would be surprised how close you could grow under some1's nose.... as for the smell of 100 plants? well i guess if the wind in blowing in their direction they will be able to smell it from a ways away, but other than that... if ur not a smoker i dont think that...
