    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

I suppose I can give some pics... not much to look at yet but the earthboxes (leaves top dressing them) are autos from night owl and then a couple green crack freebies from North Atlantic. The soil bed is Blue Popz clones I have a mom of from Burning Bush nursery (which I guess are going to be...

it was actually really weird. I had never had it happen before either. The scenario was the plant was really big in the SIP... it was a mom and I took a bunch of clones... I think when I did that I REALLY slowed down the growth and I had just added 2 gallons to the rez... so then with it losing...

Question for the brain trust I am running some autos in earthboxes... how do you all tell when is a good time to start adding water the bottom rez? I hate spider mites I have some right now too but the strains seem to not mind them so much... i am still just momming and cloning things so I am going to try a variety of sprays. Been using an essential oil blend but I am starting to think they are just enjoying the nice perfume they are getting.

    Great Lakes Genetics ?

I think there is a little different curve growing autos... you have to make sure that tap root NEVER hits the bottom of a small planter or it will go into flower and you are not going to get as much out of it as you might otherwise. Just an observation. and it "seems" that can cause lower...

Oh sorry I did not mean to imply you were talking bad about them, just my personal experience (-: if you are thinking or going that big of a SIP you might want to look into the grass roots beds. The main drawback to 27 gallon sips is they are HEAVY AF! lol so if that is not an issue grow...
