I'd say that 8 weeks will probably be good for this strain. But a lot of plants need more than 8 weeks, so don't really think 8 weeks is average. Sativa plants can take as much as 5-6 months. One of my Jack Herer phenos takes about 110 days.

Hehe, that's what it feels like. That pheno will grow single buds that are very dense with almost no leaf. It's really like picking apples when i harvest that (but it will take like 80 days to finish)

I use Luca's formula but noticed that my plants lost their fan leaves prematurely, so i added a bit of the green stuff. Now plants keep all fans till the day i harvest, so that definitely can be done with success:
