it works. soil only of course. okay, carbs that are easily abosorbed by the plant and used. carbonation that releases CO2 also nourishing the plant. i can attest to this. it perks them right up !

yep. let the soil get crispy on top and a sprayed the lil buggers with glass cleaner. worked like a charm. not too much though. it had no effect on the plants either

urine contains a compound called Urea. its nitrogen binded with hydrogen. Urea itself can be beneficial to plants in vegging. urine also contain ammonia which i dont know the effect on plants is. As for the contamination thing, urine is also completely sterile.

temps are pretty much the only limiting factor.. and as for a 5 degree drop in temp from raising an inch, i dont think so. mine stays a good eighteen in. away from tops with minimum ventilation. 400 hps w/o cool tube. (remote balast)

get the switchable MH/HPS one and get a remote balast.. it really takes a lot of heat out of your veg/flower space.
