12,000 watt metal halide bulb 900,000 lumens.

Found this 12,000 watt 6000K metal halide for only $8,429 bucks. Seems like a steal. Anyone used this bulb yet for a grow? It supposedly puts out 900,000 lumens, which I think is OK for seedlings, but I'll probably need 2 for good veg growth. I don't think I would need special ventilation for...

Metal Halide new bulb turning yelllow (arc tube)?

Hello all. Bought a used magnetic 400 watt ballast. Put in new MH bulb. Light works, nice bright blue, no flickering, noise. But noticed a couple of days later the center is getting a cinged yellow scorch mark like the light is burning up too early. Its been a while since I used HIDs (tried...

WTF is wrong with this plant? 12/12 from seed 4 1/2 weeks old

Read your water report. You do have quite high chlorine levels, but I'm more concerned with your Arsenic, Sodium, Lead, and condutivity levels. That shit doesn't even seem safe to drink let alone give to plants lol. You have a high water hardness (about 400 ppm). Your sodium is 50 ppm average...

WTF is wrong with this plant? 12/12 from seed 4 1/2 weeks old

Yeah just try watering it daily. From what I understand it is fairly hard to overwater with coco, but if you let it dry out, its near impossible to get its original water/air retention back.

This is an iron deficiency... kinda looked like your leaves.

Could these two balls be pollen sacks? Please Help!

Hermied. Are you using tap water? It may have chloramines which disrupt the plants hormone system. That's what happened to me... 20 grows hermie after hermie. all because of 3 ppm of chloramines

Still not sure, is this nute burn or defiency?

You said humidity was 25%? That is contributing to the problem significantly IMO. When humidity drops below 40%, plant cannot transpire toxins and nutes well causing toxic buildup. Get a humidifier or put wet towels in their or foliar feed with plain distilled adjusted to 6.5

Please help me identify the problem

It doesn't look like nute burn, or 'boron'.Boron is required in such micro amounts having a deficiency is pretty rare, (Like PPB not PPM). It looks more like a magnesium deficiency or lockout. Its about the time in the plants life where the plants starts sucking magnesium from the lower leaves...

In what stage is this plant?

Looks like its in its death stage, or close. Don't mean to sound like a dick. But that plant looks like its under-fed-light-pretty much everything.

    First grow need help

CO2 may make the plants grow faster, but you can only grow as fast as the weakest link in the chain. The plant needs to be fed nitrogen, bad. This is the cause of the yellowing and why the cotlydons fell off. By forcing it to grow faster, you have to feed it more.

    Over-Worried, Wouldn't Mind Some Re-Assurance!!

For day 10 that is a small seedling. Its overwatered and most likely suffering from root rot (damping off). Your root system is being attacked and not able to form correctly... too much water not enough air..

Lots Of Pics For Help And Feedback

1600 watts of light air heat doesn't matter that much. You should only be foliar feeding 10-15% not 1/4. It goes directly into the leaf pores and will burn the shit out of the leaves. "If the product doesn't have foliar instructions, you can still usually apply it in a foliar application, but...

Is this nute burn, or nute defeciency, or smething completly different. PLZZZZ HELP!!

What type of water are you using? Is it "tap you let sit out"? If so you most likely have chloramines in your water supply, which do NOT evaporate and cause all sorts of problems from nute lockout to stunted growth. What pH? RH? Air temp? Canopy temp?

    Mg deficiency?

Check your water supply for CHLORAMINE. Chloramine does NOT evaporate. 60% of municipal water supplies use Chloramine now. Even a few ppm will cause failed root growth, nutrient lockout, hermaphrodites (its a hormone disruptor). Check your water quality report, I guaranatee you its in there. RO...

    sugar and nitrogen toxity

I second that. Most likely you are getting rot from high nutes. Adding sugar would make your problem way worse imo.

Possible Copper Deficiency.... Advise Please Growers!

Oh to get rid of chloramines not even a RO filter will work. You mus get a UV light filter or use API tap water conditioner (JUST the tap water conditioner- not the one with fish shit in it) from pet store. It will smel like crap, but remove chloramines.

Possible Copper Deficiency.... Advise Please Growers!

OK lets start at the source. You said dechlorinated tap water right? What do you mean by that? Did you treat the water or just 'let it sit out'? If you 'let it sit out' it probably has chloramines which do not evaporate. Chloramines will cause all kinds of weird problems from lockout to stunted...

Plants in Flower - V Shaped (Praying) Stems/Leaves

65 is wayyy to cold. Plants are clumping together to conserve heat and 'pray' for heat. get a heater in there so heat flows from bottom to top. Try to keep air temp at 77, canopy uip to 83

    Help please

Seems like magnesium lockout, not really nutrient burn. Nutrient burn occurs mostly on tips of new leaves. What pH are you watering with? Lockout occurs above 7 usually. Please tell me you are not using tap water.
