Like the game mentioned, you didn't put the bean inmore than a 1/4" did you? if so, scrape away some of the soil on top of it...

I grew and still grow NL, they take forever.. But if you ever have a chance to grow that outdoors in a long season, try it out.. they look like apple trees come harvest time ;)
