Using hot water from water tank?

https://www.amazon.com/hygger-Aquarium-Titanium-Replacement-Controller/dp/B08Y5DG9VY https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HGXHX5Y I like these titanium aquarium heaters the best. This brand has worked flawlessly, since upgrading from glass tube kind a few years ago. I still use those too, but yeah...

I'm thinking about grabbing some of those nice looking black utilitech fans like you got, and integrating them right into the frames for the new 2x4'ish LED light fixtures I'm building. All black, to match the rest of the framing and aluminum bars will look sharp! Basically, using dual box fans...

Once you see how much filth they pickup out of the air, within like 2 months time, you'll never wanna run without the higher rated filters again. They get cruddy af. All that crap will eventually end up in your buds without the extra filtration, including PM and mold spores.. just waiting to...

When you have better circulation your dehumidifier does a much better job. As far as rot, I don't even wanna think about it, lol. I still have post traumatic budrot disorder, from that one time I lost over 20 lbs.. And all the other times. I still see rot that isn't there sometimes. I don't...

Have you ever had to stop growing for an extended time period?

Have you considered setting the spare bed & bath up as a profitable small scale microgreen farm? If you had the extra time anyway. Could probably fit 10 racks in there, and pump out an extra 100 or so trays per week! Step dad probably doesn't wanna deal with replacing the shower anyway, so...

    High Pressure Aeroponics

I wonder how long you could run off a couple large scuba air tanks with regulators, with or without the accumulator tank. The bigger old school kind, which you can find used for a good deal. Then you could make all the noise somewhere else, when filling them offsite. The portable 4500+ psi PCP...

Problem at 3 week of veg coco coir

I learned the hard way too. Almost "steered" my first coco crop right into the compost bin.. Had a buddy grab a bag of "soil" from the grow shop on his way home from work one time. I didn't realize until a few weeks later what was really in the bag, and the clones I transplanted in it were...

Problem at 3 week of veg coco coir

Coco is an inert "hydroponic" soil-less medium, so there are no microbes or other organisms to help break down organic matter or additives, or support fungal/mycelium colonies either. It's not like soil at all. Probably best to flush out those extra products you added, and stick with your base...

    High PPF causes "nanners"?

What about pot size? You likely used bigger containers in the greenhouse, right? What if being root bound alone is the trigger, and nothing to do with spectrum or temps.. Somewhere in my stash is a bodhi pack that was literally listed as being "outdoor only" when I selected it. Like, tester...

    Automated Hydro Setup

Just need to make a lid (or run a pond skimmer, lol), to keep plant and other debris from falling in. Keep the buckets as net pot risers (might as well add more holes around them), so you can keep the solution in the res at the max height, just like it is now. You'll have more total capacity...

    Water cooling leds

What about RTV silicone? Should hold up to the heat, pressure, and be resistant to whatever coolants or additives. Might be using glycol\antifreeze in the loop at some point. Need to make sure any parts or adhesives I use are compatible, especially the plastic end caps. The aluminum baluster...

    Water cooling leds

I've been planning to partition off a 30' long room in my 8' x 45' semi dry van trailer, and setting up 2 long rows of vertical multi 5 tier hydroponic flood & drain grow racks. Pretty much like the picture above, but with custom rack shelving instead of the expensive metal racks to save $$...

    Water cooling leds

I wish I could just epoxy the fittings into the ends of the square tubes, but unfortunately I'm allergic to two part epoxy resins\putties (mostly just the catalyst part B). Until its cured anyway, or I don a full toxic bio hazard suit to work in. I'd have to find a competent helper that won't...

First time ever grower wants to do hydro ...

You can use those single inline high flow RV hose filters cartridges to instantly remove most of the chlorine and a few other kinds of impurities. Not as good as an RO would, but great for what it is rated to filter out, and doesn't waste water either..

Right on! Those little 12v ZVS coils are handy, for sure. I have one for sterilizing lab tools, like scalpels, tweezers, and other instruments, etc. Great for plant tissue culture and mycology purposes. DIY dynavapes are hot, that's whats up ;) Forging your own crude heatsinks and water blocks...

What light in 2'x3'x60" for veg?

HO t5s if you need the extra heat. I know I do anyway, most the year. I'm sure they still make 3ft models & replacement bulbs, but probably getting harder to find the multi bulb fixtures in that length.. Might have to get multiple single bulb lamps if you want the full coverage wall to wall at...

It is back breaking work though. That's why I left a big open entrance space, and made an overhead lifting hatch for access into my new veg cabinet. So I can lay down halfway inside of it. Relax when training, or performing the intensive AL'ing "operations". Or, take naps.
